-Prior Principal Standards Verifier for Pearson (BTEC Art and Design levels 1 - 7)
-Foundation Art and Design / HNC/HND examiner (UK and international)
I am pretty obsessive. In printmaking, drawing and crochet, my obsession is with the pattern. It�s a real challenge trying to describe tone and form in only black and white. Although it would be fair to state that I�m driven by the process, a few of my pieces have a very personal narrative. I used to produce relief prints as a commercial illustrator, and taught for many years, but now want to focus on what I want to produce; not be driven by someone else�s brief. That in itself is a challenge, but living life to the full is providing me with some great source material!
