I describe myself as a garden and landscape photographer, but it would probably be more accurate to say I photograph colour abstracts. I hunt through landscapes, gardens and flower arrangements for colour combinations and shapes that excite me, and I�m drawn increasingly to experiment with movement and other purely abstract techniques. But each image is also a record of a time and perspective seen by the camera – I love the magic of this machine for capturing moments (and seeing in ways not quite the same as the human eye).
